About

I currently work as a Faculty Librarian at North Idaho College Molstead Library and collaborate daily with a number of inspiring colleagues in and outside my department. I received my MLIS from San Jose State University and an undergraduate degree in graphic design from San Francisco State University. Additionally, I have more than a decade of experience connecting people with information.

This site serves as a platform for me to share my personal and professional thoughts regarding technology & culture, forecasting, diversity & inclusion, design, librarianship, and literature.

Why more content?

Lifted from the the band Parquet Courts exquisite album of the same name, the phrase reminded me of the prescience nature of Marshall McLuhan's quote from five decades earlier, "We shape our tools and then our tools shape us."

As technology is further woven in to the social fabric of our personal and professional lives, what is the outcome for me, you, and everyone else?

"The more connected, the more alone."
